I OFFICIALLY have time to work on my costume now!!!
I also got to fix my blog layout... I tried tampering with it and screwed it up but I will fix it for sure! hehe
I cannot wait to spend more time online to also work on my blog and get things in order! It would be so fun to get more followers and to just create a small happy community of loving and caring people who support each other.
I know it's difficult to find good people these days in real life but I believe it's possible online. I have found some amazing people who don't know me but I follow their blogs and fb pages and they seem like such great people.
I also don't know anyone in real life that cosplays so to find these people online really means a lot to me.
I hope to meet them someday and be closer friends with who share the same interests as me. I wish all the best to all that are starting to work on their costumes and I cannot wait to see everyone at AN!! :)

I hope to blog to share my experiences with creating cosplays and I hope others also learn a little something so they don't go making the same mistake as me!
I've seen some amazing blogs that are so great because they share their progress and it's so helpful for everyone and I learned so much so I'd like to give back!
I know it may not be much.. but even if it's no help, I do like to keep a blog for fun. But I got to say.. MAD respect for Bloggers!
SWORD:
This was the first thing I tackled because it really wanted to make it as accurate as possible since it will be the main attraction since it's bigger than me!
I think it came out alright, it is fragile in some areas but it was too late to go back.


I tried to scale it correctly and I think I did ok! Just need to added height from the crazy boots and horns and I think I did an ok job!



I thought I could take out some steps to save on weight but I was wrong... and it is too late to fix because I do not want to paint it all again. -_-" So it is quite textured and the paint just emphasizes my mistakes...

I did the skull last because I had NO CLUE how to do or add it since I was figuring out if I should go find a toy but I couldn't find any so I carved it myself and attached it on... I think it turned out ok... not noticeably wrong.


HORNS:
I thought I could leave it like this but being a perfectionist.. it is not smooth enough for me! So I am fixing them up!
I still have no idea how to attach them to my head without a band. I do not plan on wearing a wig and just wear extensions since I got some that are sitting around doing nothing. Maybe it's not even possible! But I will find a way...

KNEE ARMOR:
Still working on them but this is what it is so far! To attach them all together and make them stay on me will be the challenge!

This is all I did so far, I cannot wait to work on it more when school is done! Only 1 more month!!

I am currently working on my AN2012 costume during reading week and omg there is so much to do!
I will be doing BLACK★GOLD SAW!

Me and my cousin cosplay together so she chose to do the Black Rock Shooter OVA. At the time, I did not know what it was but she showed me some pictures and I got hooked!
I like the weapons and always wanted to create a weapon for a cosplay but now I am like.. oh dear... what have I gotten myself into! hahaha
I have been doing a ton of research and watched the OVA as well as watching the series that just came out! I love it!
She wanted to do Dead Master (even though I think she would make an awesome Black★Rock Shooter as well) and told me I would match Black★Gold Saw more than Black★Rock Shooter.
Also, it seems that DM is taller than B★RS but shorter than B★GS and since I am taller than my cousin, we would look much better if we were accurate in proportion.
At first I was like... oh dear.. the bikini top O_O... I don't even wear shorts or even a tanktop at home! How can I get myself to wear shorts in public and a bikini top. Especially not being blessed in the chest area... aghhh... haha
But after I told myself... I will find a way! I will work towards becoming Black★Gold Saw!


So! Here I am.. working on my costume. I will be posting updates whenever I get the chance.


Sword is half complete! Just need to sand it, paint it and put some kind of varnish ontop.
Bought fabric to make the costume!
I am thinking of using extensions in my hair and a set of clip-on bangs because the last time.. My wig was a mess (also because it was curled -_-" so it was more of a mess where the more I tried to fix it, the worse it got!)
But now I am not sure how to attach the horns since the advantage of wearing a wig would be to wear a headband underneath to attach the horns to.
And that is all I got done so far.


I got to work faster so everything is not last minute like last year! We were up all night and couldn't even complete the costume for the first day of AN2011 but wore it on the 2nd and 3rd.


Time to get cracking!

At the moment, I am behind in school work but once I catch up and have more free time, I will be posting more!

At the moment, I am in my 4th year of Interior Design program and living in Canada.
My life goal is to help others and to live a healthy and happy life.

I would love to learn more about make up and fashion when I am done school and have more time.
I enjoy reading blogs and going on youtube to listen/read reviews of products to try out. Like every girl, we all strive to keep our youth because of society's pressure. (sucks being a girl, eh?)

I suck at writing but hopefully I will improve as I practice here!

Well, time to get back to my assignments!
